Die Marina Ember wird aus natürlichem Ton im 3D-Druckverfahren zu einer präzise verdrehten, quadratischen Form verarbeitet und anschließend von Hand mit zwei Glasuren besprüht – Waldgrün und Tiefrot –, die in den Händen des Herstellers ineinander übergehen. Da das Sprühen von Hand erfolgt, verschiebt sich die Stelle, an der sich die Farben treffen, bei jedem einzelnen Stück.
Das Ergebnis ist eine Vase, die sowohl streng geometrisch als auch still lebendig ist. Ob mit getrocknetem Pampasgras, frischem Eukalyptus oder leer – sie behauptet sich in jedem Fall.
